Well, Hello there
Thanks for checking out my page! If you're looking for a super serious, highly technical, never smiles, bland unseasoned chicken type of photographer, you've come to the wrong page.
Hailing from the suburbs of Dayton, Ohio (Go Buckeyes), I became super jealous of the oversaturated photos my younger brother was taking for his college graphic design courses. So what did I do? I bought the same camera for our family vacation to Glacier National Park and took oversaturated photos of trees and mountains... Needless to say I was hooked.
A couple years and a couple beers flew by and I decided to take my talents out west. And by talents, I mean my full time job as a Intensive Care Respiratory Therapist. I began living in cities like Seattle, Denver, and Albuquerque, where the mountains are tall, the snow is fluffy and the opportunity to take banger shots were within a short ultramarathon drive away.
The outdoors quickly became my home and I took every chance I could to capture remote scenes and the products that gave me access to seeing them. I began to seek out more aggressive adventures, like the ones you severely downplay to your mom, conquering summits; Kilimanjaro and Aconcagua. Long Treks; The Salkantay, Tour Du Mont Blanc, and The Annapurna Circuit. Bike packing; Seattle to San Diego. And a plethora of local Ski trails.
I love a challenge and I love documenting said challenge.
